The 4th Annual Durham Anglers Association Angler-New-Angler Tournament benefiting Casting for a Cure

This annual event was held on Sunday, August 12th in Port Perry. It is a fantastic fishing tournament that pairs a pro with a new angler or even someone that has never fished before to introduce them to the great sport of angler as well as raise funds for Casting for a Cure. Thank you so much to all those that made this event the biggest and best event yet!

Thank you especially to Dan Risorto and all the members of the Durham Angler’s Assoc., Andy & Vita and the entire crew from CSFL, along with all of those that donated their time to participate in this event and help to make it all possible!

Thank you as well to all of the fantastic sponsors that contributed to our silent auction and Top 10 finisher’s prizes and each company that generously donated to Casting for a Cure directly. Because of all of you, over $17,700.00 was raised for Casting for a Cure! These funds raised will help to provide social and communication opportunities to those of all ages and abilities through the use of many different types of therapy animals at Nova’s Ark.

Next year will be even bigger as we continue to grow to make this event even better for the anglers and ultimately, Casting for a Cure! What a fantastic day!
